Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
To perform Echocardiograms, Carotid Dopplers, TEEs and Stress Echoes efficiently and accurately in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school diploma required
- Graduate of one year course in ultrasound technologies which includes clinical component and/or on year experience doing echocardiograms.
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Clinical experience and/or skills as relevant to area of practice.
- Basic knowledge of normal/abnormal anatomy and physiology.
- Good oral and written communications kills. Good interpersonal skills.
License/Certifications
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) - All
- FE Certification (Fetal Echocardiography) in fetal echocardiography issued by the ARDMS within 2 years of hire is strongly recommended.(Peds only)
- PE Certification (Pediatric Echocardiography) in pediatric echocardiography issued by the ARDMS or CCI strongly recommended.(Peds only)
