CNC Machinist - WEEKEND ONLY

Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Job Type: Full-Time | Benefits Eligible
Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE)

We’re looking for skilled CNC Machinists who take pride in their craft, love solving challenges, and want to be part of a growing, fast-paced manufacturing team. If you're ready to contribute to world-class innovation and work with cutting-edge equipment, this is your opportunity.

Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
3 - 12 hour shifts + 8% Shift Differential + 4 Extra hours

What You'll Do

Operate and program CNC machines, including dual spindle lathes, mills, and manual machines (DMG Mori, HAAS, Ecomill, etc.).
Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to produce tight-tolerance parts with high consistency.
Set up jobs independently, adjust tools, and optimize machine performance.
Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators) to verify accuracy and maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams on prototypes and production runs.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work area.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts for process efficiency and quality.

What You Bring

2+ years of experience in CNC machining, setup, and operation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with programming tools (e.g., Mastercam or similar).
Experience working with both CNC and manual mills/lathes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Strong time management and communication skills.

Bonus Skills (Preferred)

Familiarity with machining components for agriculture, automotive, or heavy equipment.
Trade school certification or a degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and workplace efficiency principles.
