OVERVIEW:

Our client, a major PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Services) entity owned by 20 non-profit health plans serving >33 million members and benefits manager of government programs including Medicare and Medicaid, seeks an accomplished Pharmacist

** TITLE: Pharmacist

** LOCATION: Onsite Role at 2256 S. 3600 W. Suite A West Valley City, UT 84119

** DURATION: 3-month contract with potential of extension

** WORK SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM

Pay Rate: $66/hr - $68/hr (depending on experience).

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a pharmacist for a role that is straightforward at the start and built to grow. Initial responsibilities are primarily final verification and oversight, making this an easy ramp up compared to traditional pharmacy settings.
This position offers a clear path to a permanent role, including benefits and eligibility for raises, as responsibilities expand over time.

Job Description:

Final verification of prescriptions
Reviewing prescriber orders and identifying therapeutic issues
Oversight and verification of technician work
Ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Providing drug information and patient counseling as needed.

Job Requirement:

Education: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
Active pharmacist license in good standing
Licensed in Utah
0–2 years of pharmacist experience (new grads welcome)
