Job Title: Litigation Attorney — Serious Injury, Wrongful Death & Trucking Litigation

Pay: $100,000 base salary draw + production-based commission — $200,000 expected total annual compensation, uncapped upside

About the Role

Daryl Gray Injury Lawyers is a difference maker. We believe justice starts with empathy and concern for our community, and we fight for people who have been wronged or injured with skill, compassion, and fearlessness. We're a boutique trial firm in Memphis built around serious injury, wrongful death, and trucking personal injury litigation, and we're adding a litigation attorney to lead one of our POD-based teams, working in-office at our downtown Memphis location. Under our POD model, you won't be handling files alone you're paired with a dedicated senior case manager and litigation paralegal whose sole job is to keep your files moving so you can focus on strategy, negotiation, and trial work. Compensation combines a $100,000 base salary draw with production-based commission, for $200,000 in expected total annual compensation with uncapped upside for attorneys who exceed target production.

What You'll Do

· Manage a caseload of serious injury, wrongful death, and trucking litigation files from intake through resolution, with case manager and paralegal support handling day-to-day file administration

· Develop and execute litigation and negotiation strategy on each file to maximize case value

· Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and at trial

· Collaborate with your POD's case manager and paralegal to keep files on schedule and clients informed

· Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement posture at each stage of litigation, including complex trucking and catastrophic injury matters

· Maintain compliance with all applicable rules of professional conduct and trust accounting requirements

What We're Looking For

· Extensive, proven trial experience — a demonstrated track record of taking cases to verdict is required

· Active, good-standing license to practice law in Tennessee (or ability to obtain reciprocity/pro hac vice as needed)

· 2+ years of litigation experience; serious injury, wrongful death, or trucking/commercial vehicle litigation experience strongly preferred

· Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently

· Strong negotiation, deposition, and trial skills

· Team-oriented mindset — you'll be the "quarterback" of a 3-person POD, not a solo practitioner
