Operations Analyst Job Summary
Our Operations team works out of our West Palm Beach-based Operations Center. The Operations Analysts manage ongoing daily operations, contractor management and compliance, scheduling & staffing, outbound vendor relations and execution of internal strategic planning. This is an operations team setting, not a cybersecurity SOC setting.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures, guides and workflow checklists (provided) and follow through utilizing the provided templates
- Able to work with minimal supervision when required, and is independently able to anticipate the needs of the organization and act on those needs
- Understands (after training) our specific intake needs, and obtains all required and important information upfront during the intake process
- Adhere to an “Ahead-of-Schedule” project delivery mindset
- Conduct as-needed supply chain analysis and new procurement
- Conduct as-needed compliance reviews of contractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Have experience in and be comfortable with inbound and outbound communications (phone calls, email, text)
- Have experience in and be comfortable with negotiation and haggling for best pricing
- Maintain excellent standards of professional care: warm intake, proactive support, and seamless follow-through.
- As needed, be prepared to work on special assignments or other assigned post adjustments for the Operations Center and/or the company's success
- Perform any other assignments, duties, or tasks as assigned
Ideal Qualifications and Skills of Applicants
- 2–4 years of experience in military operations, corporate front office, logistics, or administrative support. (Equivalent military operational experience strongly valued).
- Strong personal organizational abilities, great interpersonal communication skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer and mobile device literacy, familiarity with Windows computers and digital computer applications such as Google Workspace applications and more
- 40+ WPM typing speed (testing required)
- Able to do basic algebraic mathematical calculations and use calculators
- Be detail-oriented and proactive, anticipating the needs of the company, our clients, contractors and vendors
- Good judgement to identify the best course of action when faced with high-liability situations, using the company's established decision-making framework
- Proactive capability to follow complex instructions
- Experience or knowledge of GIS systems and mapping platforms, utilizing different information systems (preferred, not required)
