Full Job Description

Plaintiff's workers' compensation law firm seeking a Paralegal/ Legal Assistant with prior experience but not required and bi-lingual (Spanish or Creole) to join our fast paced team in our office’s West Palm Beach, FL location. This is not a remote position.

Primary duties include: Managing workers' compensation cases from intake through settlement, maintaining case files and performing additional case management duties as needed. Reviewing discovery requests and assisting in the preparation responses; providing general assistance in preparing for hearings, mediation, trial, and firm meetings as directed; preparing case summaries and monitoring litigation management databases as directed by the attorneys; maintaining court calendars, deadlines and litigation timetables; preparing affidavits and other affected parties, as necessary including coordination of witness interviews; interacting with outside counsel to assist with discovery and witness coordination; performing other marginal related duties as assigned by management.

Must possess very strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision.
