Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a full time dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe and Concierge Assistant to join our concierge practice. In this dynamic role, you will serve as a vital support to physicians and medical staff by accurately transcribing clinical documentation, managing medical records, and assisting with various administrative tasks within the practice. Your expertise will help streamline patient care processes, ensure precise medical documentation, and enhance overall clinic efficiency. This unique position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a meaningful difference in patient experiences.

Requirements:

Must be college educated or currently enrolled
Required to able to type, not finger peck!
Must have presentable and professional appearance; no visible tattoos (must be able to hide if any), nails & hair must be appropriate length and color, and no excessive piercings on ears/face.
Non-smoker (tobacco & vape free)
Required to pass extension background and credit check
Have a high interest in wellness & healthy habits
Bonus would have phlebotomy skills or interested in learning

Responsibilities

Transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using ECW (E-Clinical Works) with high accuracy and attention to detail
Assist healthcare providers by preparing, cleaning & stocking exam rooms, gathering patient information, and supporting clinical workflows
Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and documentation standards
Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately document diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans
Support the management of medical documentation by updating patient charts, entering data into ECW, and verifying record accuracy
Help facilitate communication between patients and providers by managing appointment scheduling and follow-up reminders

Experience

Prior experience working in a medical office environment or as a medical scribe is required
Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems for efficient documentation and record management
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures
Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to support real-time documentation
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism

We offer Health Insurance (company pays 70% of the cost, employee responsible for 30%), PTO, 401k (available by the end of 2026), Paid Holidays (New Year's Eve -afternoon, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve (afternoon), and Christmas Day and access to treatments/testing at discounted rates.
