**THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION/MUST WORK ON-SITE**

The mission of Everglades University is to provide quality education to adult learners of diverse backgrounds in a collaborative environment where each individual has the opportunity to achieve personal growth. The University seeks to accomplish its mission by combining small class sizes and innovative programs with traditional academic values to deliver graduate and undergraduate programs both on campus and online.

The Online Division located in Boca Raton is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Academic Advisors. We need individuals who will provide excellent student service in an environment that embraces learning, positive spirit, high-performance, integrity and diversity.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Student advising and assistance to help students reach their academic and career goals.
2. Collaborate with University faculty and staff.
3. Utilizes coaching and mentoring methods which provide an environment that is anticipatory, supportive, and encourages constructive feedback on performance.
4. Administrative functions to include contact management documentation, file maintenance and auditing, reporting, etc.

Academic Advisor must have the following:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study is required.
3. Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills.

This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability; 4 days 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, 1 day 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, and 1 Saturday out of each month, 8:30am - 5:00 pm.
