■ Position Summary
This position is responsible for recruiting key talent in North America, supporting HR operations for North American subsidiaries, and reviewing expatriate compensation and payroll-related matters.
Professional-level proficiency in both Korean and English is required.
■ Key Responsibilities
1. North America Talent Acquisition
- Develop recruiting plans for positions in business development, research and development, production engineering, and key management functions in the United States.
- Source candidates through job boards, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, campus recruiting, search firms, headhunters, and other recruiting channels.
- Identify and recruit master’s- and Ph.D.-level R&D talent from major universities and research institutions in the United States through campus recruiting and other sourcing activities.
- Prepare job postings and review resumes and applications.
- Conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications and job fit.
- Prepare compensation proposals and offer letters, negotiate employment terms, and support the hiring process through offer acceptance.
2. North America HR Operations Support
- Identify HR operational issues at each subsidiary and review improvement plans.
- Coordinate quarterly meetings with HR leaders at North American subsidiaries and manage key agenda items.
- Analyze and report workforce data, labor costs, recruiting status, and other key HR metrics for each subsidiary.
3. Expatriate Compensation and Payroll Review
- Review expatriate base salary, expatriate allowances, housing support, education assistance, insurance, and other benefits.
- Review home-country and host-country payroll records to identify duplicate payments, missing payments, and overpayments or underpayments.
- Review expatriate payroll matters related to U.S. federal and state income taxes, Social Security, Medicare, and the U.S.–Korea Social Security Agreement.
- Analyze expatriate payroll and tax issues, identify root causes, and develop improvement plans.

■ Required Knowledge
- Knowledge of recruiting processes
- Understanding of the U.S. recruiting market and major recruiting channels
- Understanding of compensation, payroll, employee benefits, and labor cost structures
- Understanding of expatriate compensation and global assignment programs
- Understanding of U.S. federal and state employment laws and employment-related regulations
- Basic knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, Social Security, Medicare, and expatriate taxation
- HR data analysis and reporting skills
■ Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
■ Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in HR, recruiting, compensation, or international HR operations
- Professional working proficiency in both Korean and English
■ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in U.S.-based recruiting
- Experience in expatriate compensation, benefits, or tax equalization
- Experience or knowledge related to U.S. payroll or employment law
- Ability to work in or travel to locations in Atlanta or Alabama

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
