About the Role

Join the team that manufactures and maintains the iconic uniforms worn by cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will operate standard and high-speed industrial sewing machines to perform a range of operations in the manufacture, alteration, and repair of cadet uniforms in a professional production environment. At the senior level, you will handle the most complex sewing operations and help maintain production quality standards.

What You'll Do

Operate standard and high-speed industrial sewing machines to manufacture cadet uniform components
Perform complex seaming, joining, and finishing operations to exacting quality standards
Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and rework as needed
Support production flow and assist less experienced operators as directed

What You Bring

3+ years of industrial/production sewing machine experience preferred
Demonstrated skill on standard and high-speed sewing machines
Attention to detail and consistent quality workmanship
Must be 18 years of age or older (U.S. Government contract requirement)
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Reliable transportation to West Point, NY

What We Offer

Full-time, 40 hours/week guaranteed minimum, Monday–Friday day shift – no nights, no weekends
Paid federal holidays and vacation per Service Contract Act requirements
All PPE and equipment provided
Anticipated start: August 2026; position runs through September 2026 with option periods extending to May 2027
