Full Job Description

MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR IN GENERAL DENTISTRY FRONT OFFICE EXPERIENCE. Our growing practice is searching for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist. This person must be knowledgeable and proficient with the practice management software, Patterson Eaglesoft. We are a fast growing, privately owned dental office in West Point, GA. We are seeking an outstanding individual to provide extraordinary service for our patients in the administrative area. This person should be a self-starter, who is highly organized, and possess strong verbal skills. Must be dependable. They should have an outgoing personality, must be able to multitask, present well to others, and enjoy working with patients and coworkers. Candidates must be comfortable discussing financial matters with patients. Prior front office experience a must. This is a full-time job position; Our hours are Monday thru Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with rotating Fridays.

All tasks assigned are not limited to other patient and treatment coordinating tasks. All team members will be cross trained to be able to flow together seamlessly throughout a work day. Checking patients in/out, making appointments, answering phones, treatment planning and Verifying the patient’s health insurance benefits. Explaining insurance benefits to patients. Entering data using dental practice management software Eaglesoft. Posting payments made by patients etc.

High school degree, GED or related. Minimum of 1 years in a dentist office environment. Excellent communication skills. Proficient with data entry. Experience in dental practice management software Eaglesoft. Microsoft Office experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of dental procedures and dental insurance billing codes.
