Overview

Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This rewarding role involves providing compassionate assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support within clients’ homes or community settings. We are committed to fostering a positive environment where your caregiving skills help enhance independence, safety, and quality of life for those you serve. All positions are paid, reflecting the value of your vital contributions.

Duties

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor patients’ health status by checking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals
Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs tailored to individual dietary requirements
Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safe manual handling and resident transfers
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with home health standards and regulations

Skills

Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or dementia care
Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, and long-term care environments
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and coordination with healthcare teams
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Capable of assisting with personal transportation needs and supporting clients during community outings or appointments
