Job Overview: Office Manager – Rheumatology Practice

We are a small, established rheumatology practice seeking an EXPERIENCED, organized, dependable Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and support our clinical and administrative team. Must have experience working in a high volume medical office, rheumatology experience a plus.

Medical office management experience is MUST, and billing or insurance, as well as rheumatology, experience is a plus.

Requirements

Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical setting
Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success managing teams in healthcare environments
Extensive knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Medent; familiarity with patient management software is essential
Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards
Exceptional managerial communication skills combined with customer service expertise to foster positive patient interactions
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records handling, and electronic health record systems is required
Ability to manage office operations efficiently using Microsoft Office tools and other relevant software platforms
Experience with medical office environments or clinics specializing in rheumatology is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
