Full Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care Supervisor

House Calls Home Care LLC is a growing non-skilled home care agency serving seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Northern Virginia. Our mission is to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by delivering compassionate, reliable, and high-quality personal care services.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our home care operations. This position focuses on client assessments, caregiver supervision, care planning, staff education, regulatory compliance, and maintaining the quality of our non-skilled home care services.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial in-home client assessments before services begin.
Perform routine supervisory visits in accordance with Virginia home care regulations.
Develop and update individualized non-skilled Plans of Care based on each client's needs.
Train, educate, and support caregivers on agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
Review caregiver performance and provide coaching when needed.
Ensure services are delivered according to the approved Plan of Care.
Maintain accurate assessment, supervisory visit, and agency documentation.
Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Health regulations and agency policies.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Assist with new client admissions and service coordination.
Work closely with the administrative team to ensure excellent client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required

Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Minimum 2 years of Home Care (RN) experience.
Home Care, Personal Care, Hospice, Long-Term Care, or Community-Based Care experience preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia.
Ability to work independently.

Preferred

Previous experience working for a Virginia home care agency.
Experience supervising caregivers.
Knowledge of Virginia Home Care regulations.
Leadership experience within a home care environment.

Schedule

Full-Time
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary

$80,000 – $100,000 per year
Based on qualifications and relevant home care experience.
