Full Job Description

Gino's Pizza and Spaghetti House is looking for a District Supervisor to oversee multiple locations within Fayette and Nicholas Counties. They bridge the gap between corporate goals and individual restaurants by managing location managers, analyzing financial performance, driving sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring strict compliance with operational and health standards.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management: Analyze regional profit and loss (P&L) statements, set revenue targets, optimize labor and food costs, and manage regional budgets.
Leadership & Talent: Recruit, train, and mentor Restaurant General Managers. Oversee succession planning and conduct performance reviews.
Operations & Compliance: Conduct high-impact store visits to ensure all locations meet corporate standards for food quality, facility cleanliness, customer service, and food safety regulations.
Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to roll out promotions, design sales plans, and execute community outreach initiatives.
Problem Solving: Resolve escalated customer complaints and operational bottlenecks that individual restaurant managers cannot handle.

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant or hospitality management experience (e.g., as a District Manager).
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or culinary arts is often preferred, though equivalent, extensive industry experience is widely accepted.
Skills: Strong financial acumen (P&L analysis), proficiency in operational reporting software, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel frequently between locations within the region.
Prior experience in restaurant management or similar role is essential.
The ability to effectively lead and inspire a team is critical for success.
Strong interpersonal communication skills are needed to interact clearly with staff, vendors and customers.
Controlling labor and food costs and tracking profitability is crucial for the business.
The capacity to think quickly and resolve issues as they arise is necessary for the fast-paced restaurant environment.
The restaurant industry requires the ability to adjust quickly to changes in staffing, demand or other unexpected events.
Comprehensive knowledge of health codes and sanitation standards is mandatory. Serve safe certification will be required.
Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, scheduling/payroll software, and other restaurant management tools is preferred. Knowledge of basic computer skills.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
Food Safety Certification or food handlers certification is preferred but not required
Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory or management role is highly preferred.
