Lead a Hotel Where Great Service and Strong Leadership Matter

La Quinta Inn & Suites in Morgantown, West Virginia, is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, guest satisfaction, team development, and driving financial performance.

teams, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop department managers and team members.
Lead front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services operations.
Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores and online reviews.
Manage hotel budgets, financial performance, forecasting, and cost controls.
Drive revenue growth while maintaining brand standards.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Maintain property appearance and operational excellence.
Build a positive, accountable, and service-focused team culture.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager is required.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven success managing hotel financial performance and operating budgets.
Experience with revenue management, labor management, and expense control.
Ability to motivate and develop employees while fostering a positive work environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Experience with Wyndham or other major hotel brands is preferred.
