Full Job Description

We’re expanding our Team!

Solar Holler has opportunities for licensed Journeyman and Master electricians who are ready to take their career to the next level. Employees of Solar Holler have the opportunity for IBEW Union Membership, which includes Union Benefits and Retirement, and the security of full-time, permanent employment with a growing Solar Company.

As a part of our AC Electrical Crew, based in Huntington, WV, you will be responsible for installation and electrical interconnection of rooftop and ground mount solar systems.This role does require travel throughout our Market Areas of West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia, includes some overnight stays and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Essential Job Functions

Install photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs and landscapes.
Install and commission remote monitoring software.
Responsible for diligently tracking and uploading panel level monitoring data.
Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding the status of each job

Required Job Qualifications

Maintain a Valid Driver’s License and be able to meet all Insurance Company criteria
Possess a West Virginia Master or Journeyman Electrical License (a plus if licensed in other States)
A MINIMUM of 2-4 years actual electrical field experience

Other Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Construction, electrical, roofing, or solar industry experience a plus
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on steep rooftops, and in varying weather conditions
Ability to travel and stay overnight when required, throughout our service and installation areas of West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Ohio
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and performing job functions at heights.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds individually.
