Grant Gardens Residential Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dynamic Unit Supervisor to lead one of our residential treatment units serving adolescents with emotional and behavioral health needs. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about developing staff, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring exceptional care for the youth we serve.

As a Unit Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned unit, providing leadership, coaching, and support to Youth Counselors while ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. You will work closely with nursing, clinical, and leadership teams to promote quality care, maintain regulatory compliance, and support individualized treatment goals for each resident.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of residential care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements.
Oversee resident care services, including medication administration, personal assistance, and health monitoring.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents’ specific needs, including dementia and memory care considerations.
Manage operational aspects such as staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain efficient unit functioning.
Foster a compassionate environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including infection control protocols and safety procedures.
Provide leadership in staff training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support residents’ holistic needs.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required in related field
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored for residents with developmental disabilities or complex health conditions.
Experience in medication administration, safety protocols, and health monitoring within a residential setting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee operations management effectively.
Background in social work or related fields is advantageous; financial acumen for budgeting is preferred.
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents’ families, staff members, and healthcare providers.
