PROGRAM MANAGER
Job Description

Right At School has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade, and today we serve more than 35,000 students in 17 states across the country. Program Manager: $22.00-$27.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Program Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM- 6:00 PM

WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS:

Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum
Develop and coach a team who are passionate about providing a safe, fun, engaging environment
Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience
Instill the Right At School footprint by participating in local community events (Back to School, Right Club gives back, Field Day, and more!)
Manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork

THE RIGHT FIT FOR THIS ROLE:

Prior experience supervising others
Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

State Specific Requirements:

Current Rhode Island Department of Education teacher certification for grades pre-kindergarten to second grade AND Three (3) months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved Early Childhood Program (student teaching may fulfill this requirement)

Current Rhode Island Department of Education teacher certification for Early Childhood Special Education, which includes Early Childhood Certification AND Three (3) months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved Early Childhood Program (student teaching may fulfill this requirement)

Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education AND Three (3) months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved Early Childhood Program (student teaching may fulfill this requirement)

Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to Early Childhood Education such as Child Development, Elementary Education or Special Education, and twenty-four (24) credits in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution of higher education AND Three (3) months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved Early Childhood Program (student teaching may fulfill this requirement)

Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to Early Childhood Education such as Child Development, Elementary Education or Special Education, and twelve (12) credits in Early Childhood Education from an accredited or approved institution of higher education AND One (1) year of supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved Early Childhood Program (student teaching may fulfill this requirement)

Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to Early Childhood Education such as Child Development, Elementary Education or Special Education, and RIELDS Certification: Implementing a Standards-Based Program AND One (1) year of supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved Early Childhood Program (student teaching may fulfill this requirement)

Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field or an associate’s degree in a field related to Early Childhood Education AND is actively participating in a DHS-approved ECE program to receive twenty-four (24) ECE credits, promoted from within the program after one (1) year of employment
