Solvus Global is seeking an agile, detail-oriented Operations Manager to anchor our contract administration and corporate compliance framework. Purpose-built for a professional with 2–3 years of operations or litigation paralegal experience seeking to transition out of traditional legal practice, this role applies a rigorous risk-mitigation mindset to business operations, startup spinouts, and advanced technology commercialization.

Reporting directly to the Finance, you will serve as the primary safeguard against operational exposure. You will oversee the full lifecycle of private and federal contracts from inception through closeout, draft vital commercial agreements, and serve as the essential liaison connecting internal engineering teams, prime partners, and external legal counsel. As a core contributor in a rapidly scaling business, you will thrive in a fluid, cross-disciplinary environment, extending your capacity as needed to drive overall organizational excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Contract Administration: Manage the end-to-end administration of commercial and government contracts (including CPFF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ contract types) from inception through closeout.
Document Review & Drafting: Independently review, draft, negotiate, and execute standard corporate agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and vendor agreements. Conduct periodic reviews and audits on company-wide policies.
External Liaison: Act as the primary, authoritative point of contact between Solvus Global and our Prime partners, as well as coordinating complex matters with our partner law firms.
Cross-Functional Operational Support: Provide flexible, proactive assistance across other operational departments during peak periods or special projects, contributing to an agile "all-hands-on-deck" team ecosystem.

Required Attributes & Skills

Meticulous Attention to Detail: A natural inclination toward meticulous proofreading, compliance auditing, and identifying subtle loopholes or discrepancies in technical documents.
Cross-Disciplinary Flexibility: A proactive, collaborative attitude with a genuine willingness and ability to step outside the primary scope of legal work to support other operational fields whenever an extra hand is required.
Rapid Problem-Solving Agility: Clear demonstration of cognitive flexibility and the ability to rapidly learn the nuances of federal contracting structures.
High-Stakes Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills suitable for high-level technical negotiations and external partner management.
Organization & System Management: Strong structural capability to coordinate multiple overlapping deadlines across shifting operational domains without dropping the ball.
Legal Framework Foundation: 2+ years of direct experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or contracts specialist role, with a proven ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory language.

Advantageous Attributes & Skills

Federal Contracting Exposure: Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or prior exposure to SBIR/STTR award administration.
Digital Tool Proficiencies: Experience utilizing agile tracking tools and database ecosystems such as Airtable, Precoro, QuickBooks, or similar business management software.
Multi-Disciplinary Adaptability: Experience handling multi-faceted tasks across legal, finance, IT, or HR environments.

Location: Central MA (Worcester, Leominster) / Hybrid

Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000

Disclosure Statement: This salary range is a good-faith estimate, and the final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and our internal equity analysis.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
