Summary:
The Clinical Dietitian role directs and coordinates nutritional care to patients in assigned clinical areas. Responsible for performing nutritional assessments, developing, and implementing care plans, educating patients, and communicating with physicians and health team members.

System Optimization: Manages, implements, and maintains nutrition components in electronic health records (EHR) and food service software.

Data Analysis & Management: Analyzes nutrition data for clinical decision-making, population health outcomes, and research.

Menu & Ingredient Management: Maintains nutrient databases, recipe standardization, and nutrient analysis in food service systems.

Workflow Improvement: Evaluates and streamlines workflows for clinical dietitians and nutrition staff to enhance productivity.

Training & Support: Acts as a subject matter expert, training staff on software, new technology, and supporting,

Liaison Role: Acts as a liaison between Nutrition Services, IT departments, and administration regarding systems.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Dietitian required. Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver’s License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
- Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $29.45 to $39.84 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
