## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, Optician/Receptionist/Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, following prescriptions written by ophthalmologists and optometrists. Will train and assist in growing your knowledge base in the business.

## Duties
- Interpret optical prescriptions written by ophthalmologists or optometrists
- Assist customers in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings
- Take facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyeglasses
- Verify the accuracy of finished lenses to ensure they meet quality standards
- Instruct customers on how to wear and care for their eyeglasses.
- Adjust eyewear to ensure comfort and proper fit
- Repair damaged frames

## Requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with retail sales practices
- Ability to work with pediatric patients
- Experience in a clinic or medical office environment
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for handling lenses and frames
- Familiarity with maintaining medical records

## Language

Spanish is a plus
