Overview

Join our dynamic food service team as a Food Service Worker, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be an essential part of delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Whether preparing delicious meals, serving guests with a smile, or maintaining a pristine environment, your energy and attention to detail will contribute to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and hospitality expertise in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing in-person customer service that enhances the dining experience
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, blenders, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions
Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, dining areas, and adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures throughout your shift
Follow food handling guidelines diligently to ensure food safety management and prevent contamination or spoilage
Assist with catering events or special functions by setting up serving stations and managing food distribution
Handle weight-based tasks such as portioning ingredients or preparing takeout orders with accuracy and efficiency

Skills

Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments demonstrating high standards of food presentation and customer service
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices to support kitchen operations
Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Strong understanding of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and proper handling of food products
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy trays or boxes while maintaining safety standards
Basic math skills for managing cash transactions, measuring ingredients, or calculating portion sizes
Wine knowledge or hospitality experience is a plus for enhancing guest interactions in upscale settings
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Experience with POS systems for processing orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple responsibilities seamlessly
