Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, responsible, stable, and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team on Fridays to treat adults. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical expertise in general dentistry, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to provide a broad range of dental services, including preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures, while fostering a positive patient experience. The Associate General Dentist will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for all patients.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis.
Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Utilize dental software systems such as Curve or Eaglesoft for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure client communication and understanding.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties relevant to general practice.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing.
Medicaid ID
Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or healthcare setting; prior dental office experience is preferred.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Curve, Eaglesoft.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and treating young patients is desirable.
Knowledge of infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and adhering to all state healthcare regulations governing medical documentation and patient privacy.
Must be a team player.
Spanish speaking is a plus
