Full Job Description

Cloverkey is a trusted name in retail gift shops within hospital systems. As a family-owned business, we are built on values of hard work, integrity, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Business Development Sales Representative to expand our hospital gift shop management partnerships. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities by calling on hospital administrators, auxiliary groups, foundation leaders, and healthcare executives to present our comprehensive in-house hospital gift shop operating services.

The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with strong networking abilities, experience selling services or solutions to healthcare organizations, and a passion for building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify and pursue new hospital partnership opportunities.
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with hospital administrators, CFOs, CEOs, auxiliary boards, volunteer organizations, and foundation leadership to present our gift shop management solutions.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective hospital clients through networking, referrals, industry events, cold outreach, and follow-up activities.
Understand each hospital’s retail, volunteer, and patient-experience needs and provide customized solutions for operating or improving their in-house gift shop.
Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business reviews that demonstrate operational, financial, and service benefits.
Collaborate with internal operations, merchandising, and leadership teams to develop proposals and transition new accounts successfully.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
Represent the company professionally at healthcare conferences, networking events, and association meetings.
Meet or exceed established sales goals, revenue targets, and new account acquisition objectives.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of outside sales, business development, or account executive experience.
Proven success in building relationships with executive-level decision makers.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications

Background in retail operations or gift shop management, or outsourced operational services.
Established relationships within healthcare administration or hospital auxiliary/foundation networks.
