Crown Healthcare is seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Ancillary Support to provide operational leadership and support across our skilled nursing facilities throughout Ohio.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who enjoys mentoring teams, improving operations, and helping facilities achieve excellence. The ideal candidate is an experienced operational leader with a strong background in Dietary Services, Environmental Services (Housekeeping/Laundry), Central Supply, or related support departments within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership and support for Dietary Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Central Supply departments across multiple facilities.
Mentor, develop, and coach department managers to achieve operational excellence.
Conduct on-site operational assessments and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Assist facilities with survey preparedness and achieving substantial compliance.
Develop action plans and partner with facility leadership to successfully implement improvements.
Support new department leaders through onboarding, education, and ongoing mentorship.
Collaborate with Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Regional Directors, and Corporate Leadership to drive organizational goals.
Monitor key performance indicators and promote best practices across all facilities.
Assist with department transitions, leadership vacancies, and special operational projects as needed.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in one or more of the following:
Dietary Services/Food & Nutrition Services
Environmental Services (Housekeeping/Laundry)
Central Supply
Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Operations
Multi-facility leadership experience strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care operations.
Demonstrated success leading operational improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop department leaders.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel extensively throughout Ohio.
Experience preparing facilities for regulatory surveys and maintaining compliance.
Candidates overseeing Food & Nutrition Services should meet the qualifications outlined under CMS Requirements for Directors of Food and Nutrition Services, including:
Be a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist; or
Be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or possess equivalent nationally recognized food service management credentials where applicable; or
Meet state requirements for directing food and nutrition services in a skilled nursing facility, including completion of an approved food service management course if required.
Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and dietary regulations within skilled nursing facilities.
