This position has a budgeted hiring rate of $50,000. The position is classified as an A3. The A3 salary band for all full-time, 12-month positions at the college with this classification have a minimum rate of $45,000 and a maximum rate of $70,312.50. The actual schedule for exempt positions may vary based on the workload and responsibilities assigned.

The Professional Licensure and International Student Compliance Coordinator supports GPS programs that enroll international students through the coordination of program operations, serves as the Designated School Official for SEVIS and coordinates compliance efforts related to Professional Licensure and State Authorization. This is an on-site, non-remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional Licensure & Compliance
Coordinate and support compliance activities related to professional licensure, disclosures, state authorization, and NC-SARA requirements. Monitor regulatory changes, maintain licensure requirements, and manage reporting, documentation, disclosures, and website content. Collaborate with campus partners to ensure policies, procedures, and data reporting meet federal and state regulations.
International Student Program Coordination
Manage, track and support international student programs, including recruitment events, residency planning, student communications, and vendor coordination. Monitor student enrollment, academic progress, and compliance with F-1 requirements, while maintaining accurate records and facilitating program logistics, billing, and reporting.
Designated School Official (DSO)
Serve as a DSO by managing SEVIS records, processing I-20s, and ensuring compliance with F-1 regulations. Provide orientations and information on visa requirements, monitor student enrollment and engagement, and maintain confidential records in alignment with federal policies. This role requires that the DSO designation be maintained.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Previous experience in higher education administration, graduate program operations, international student services, compliance, or related fields preferred.
- Eligibility to serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) as defined by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, including U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn SEVIS, F-1 regulations, NC-SARA requirements, and professional licensure compliance regulations.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating events, student services, or program operations preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and student information systems or customer relations systems
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, including graduate residency events scheduled throughout the year.
