Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources and Payroll Administrator to join our team. The main function of this role will revolve around payroll processing, but it will also include benefits administration, and data management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting.

Responsibilities

Enter payroll weekly from inception through all required filings.
Process the payroll for our MD and NC offices
Send electronic files to banks
Create certified payroll reports
Pay taxes, child support and wage garnishments
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Perform data entry tasks related to employee records and HR metrics.
Assist with tax-related documentation and reporting as needed.
Pay 401K contributions
Complete yearly 401K testing and audit
Complete yearly Workers Comp audit
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless HR operations and support organizational goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits administration is required.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with tax regulations and financial concepts related to payroll and HR.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
