Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Ophthalmology Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy office environment. This vital role ensures smooth administrative workflows, exceptional customer service, and efficient management of office resources. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsabilities:

.Practice Operations

Oversee all daily clinical and administrative operations
Ensure efficient patient flow from check-in through check-out
Monitor physician and technician schedules for optimal efficiency

Team Leadership

Supervise front desk, technicians, surgical coordinator, and administrative staff
Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees
Conduct regular performance evaluations

Financial Oversight

Monitor collections, copays, deductibles, and financial policies
Review daily financial reports and key performance indicators

Patient Experience

Ensure patients receive outstanding customer service
Resolve patient concerns promptly and professionally

Surgical Coordination Oversight

Support efficient surgical scheduling
Monitor authorizations and preoperative requirements
Coordinate communication between the office, surgery center, and referring providers

Compliance & Quality

Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance
Ensure practice policies are consistently followed
Assist with audits and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and office protocols

Requirements

Experience in medical office management or administrative roles with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry.
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems , Google Workspace, and basic computer literacy
Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems and front desk responsibilities
Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse clients and team members
Strong leadership/supervisory management skills.
