Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installation Field Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsiblefor both pre-installation readiness and in-process installation execution to ensure successful, high-quality project completion. This role serves as a critical field liaison between Sales, Operations, Installation crews, and Homeowners by owning measurements, jobsite suitability, material accuracy, installation oversight, recovery work, and customer communication. The Installation Field Specialist ensures installation standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded from project kickoff through closeout.
Duties
· Measure windows and doors to ensure accurate sizing and proper fit.
· Confirm jobsite suitability for installation and collaborate with homeowners to resolve site-related concerns.
· Create and submit accurate material lists, jobsite documentation, and photos within required timelines using PQM, Company Cam, and PIES.
· Ensure homeowners fully understand the installation process, timelines, and expectations.
· Conduct mandatory jobsite visits for designated projects, including high-value, permit-required, and specialty installations.
· Research and submit all permits needed to complete the installation process.
· Document job-site conditions, crew performance and completion using approved company systems and applications.
· Identify site issues and provide recovery information or service information to proper internal departments.
· Assess and complete recovery work, punch list items, and small installations that are Pella driven. Enforce crew recovery compliance when the issues are generated by the installer.
· Perform project closeout tasks including screen and hardware installation when required.
· Communicate daily with installation crews to provide updates, answer questions, and review previous completion concerns.
· Support and enforce Lead Safe, fall protection, and all required safety protocols.
· Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, scheduling, and job quality.
· Recruit, onboard, and support subcontractor labor as needed.
· During installation review and submit all add labor requests and/or finishing requests to the supervisors for final approval.
· On occasion review final payouts with your supervisor to ensure accurate payments to the installers.
· This role may be adjusted as needed to support evolving company priorities and customer requirements.
Requirements
· Three to five years of window and door installation experience or equivalent field experience.
· Demonstrated knowledge of installation best practices, jobsite readiness, and construction fundamentals.
· Proficiency with company systems and Company Cam.
· Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple jobsites daily.
· Ability to read and interpret measurements, blueprints, and installation documentation.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
