Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant, Bookkeeper, and Income Tax Preparer to join our professional team. This role involves managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Bookkeeping, accounting principles and/or Income tax preparation with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals and businesses
Perform bookkeeping tasks including data entry, reconciliation, and ledger management
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
Utilize bookkeeping and accounting skills to ensure accuracy in all financial documentation
Perform 10 key typing tasks efficiently for data entry and documentation purposes

Experience

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Strong background in tax preparation and/or bookkeeping
Familiarity with financial concepts including analysis skills and technical accounting procedures
Experience with math-intensive tasks including 10 key typing accuracy and speed
Prior exposure to financial software solutions and understanding of accounting principles is highly desirable

This role is ideal for candidates passionate about finance, detail-oriented work, and providing top-tier service to clients. We value professionalism, accuracy, and a proactive approach to managing complex financial data.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
