Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, promoting healing, and enhancing overall well-being. Your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), anatomy, physiology, and modern healthcare diagnosis will be essential in delivering comprehensive patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through personalized, evidence-based acupuncture therapies.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and aseptic practices to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Manage acute pain conditions through targeted acupuncture interventions such as trigger point therapy and pain management techniques.
Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR management systems) to document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed treatment records.
Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to support ongoing health improvements.
Collaborate with healthcare providers for comprehensive diagnosis and integrated patient care plans.
Stay current with advancements in pain medicine, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Requirements

Valid state licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with certification in acupuncture and TCM practices.
Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and physical examinations.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments and deliver direct patient care with compassion and professionalism.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and foster positive patient relationships.
Commitment to maintaining aseptic techniques and adhering to healthcare safety standards at all times.
