Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Rheumatologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert diagnosis and comprehensive management of rheumatologic conditions, improving patients’ quality of life through innovative treatment plans and compassionate care. implementing best practices in rheumatology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work either part time or full-time virtually and with a flexible schedule for a great work life balance in a collaborative environment committed to excellence in patient care and medical innovation.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments
Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced therapies such as biologic agents, corticosteroids, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs)
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Interpret diagnostic tests including medical imaging, laboratory results, and other relevant data to inform clinical decisions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients on disease management strategies, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching techniques

Experience

Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
Proven experience in managing complex rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, psoriatic arthritis, and vasculitis
Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management
Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to rheumatology including MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray interpretation
