Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and client-focused Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing med spa team. In this role, you will play an integral part in helping clients enhance their confidence and achieve their aesthetic goals through advanced cosmetic treatments and personalized care.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment that values professionalism, innovation, safety, and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, highly professional, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Schedule

~40 hours per week
Tue- Sat

Responsibilities

Perform aesthetic treatments and services within the NP scope of practice and in accordance with Illinois regulations, medical oversight requirements (if applicable), established treatment protocols, and company policies
Conduct comprehensive client consultations and assessments by:
Reviewing medical histories
Evaluating treatment candidacy
Explaining procedures, risks, benefits, and aftercare instructions
Developing and recommending appropriate treatment plans based on client goals and clinical judgment
Administer and/or oversee aesthetic procedures including:
Cosmetic injectables (Botox, dermal fillers, etc.)
PRP/PRF and scalp restoration treatments
Body contouring and skin tightening treatments
B-12 injections and Vitamin IV therapy
Order, prescribe, or delegate treatments and medications as permitted under Illinois NP scope
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, consent forms, treatment records, and client charts
Adhere to all infection control, sanitation, HIPAA/privacy, and patient safety standards
Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and inventory supplies to support efficient clinic operations
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, professional, and client-centered experience
Assist with scheduling, client follow-up, and front desk support as needed
Utilize electronic scheduling and charting systems
Support client education, treatment retention, and appropriate retail or service recommendations while maintaining ethical sales practices
Collaborate professionally with medical providers, nurses, technicians, and leadership team members
Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and advance clinical competency

Qualifications & Requirements

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Illinois required
Board certification in relevant NP specialty required
Minimum of 3 year of clinical experience preferred; aesthetic/medical cosmetic experience strongly preferred
Experience with or willingness to be trained in:
Cosmetic injectables
PRP/scalp injections
Body contouring and skin tightening
Laser treatments
Vitamin injections and IV therapy
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office applications preferred
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Commitment to professionalism, ethical patient care, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance

Additional Information

This position is structured as an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. The selected candidate will be expected to maintain all applicable professional licenses, and certifications.
