JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Scale master/ Administrative Clerk

PURPOSE: Oversee the weighing of incoming and outbound trucks, and/or performs a wide variety of office support activities, administrative service

SUPERVISOR: Site Foreman

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Oversee the weighing of all trucks that enter and leave Warrenton River Terminal property.
Responsible for preparing and reviewing daily truck reports, reporting of both in/out bound barge activity, preparing reports for submittal to customers.
Oversee and carry out day-to-day Company administrative functions of the Company Office including answering phones, handling of company mail and ordering of office supplies.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required
2 - 5 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to use all MS Office applications and Excel. Proficient in Word.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a fast paced environment
Must maintain excellent vendor relations and integrity.
