Eye Medical Receptionist / Surgical Coordinator - Spanish Speaking

Accepting resumes for a FT/PT medical/ophthalmic receptionist & Surgical Coordinator position.

Previous Medical Front Office experience ONLY*

Ophthalmic experience preferred*. Ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker, super organized, quick paced, and a team player. Heavy phone call work

Responsibilities

Scheduling appointments, verifying eligibility with insurances, confirming appointments and processing patient copays, registering patients (computerize), knowledge of medical billing procedures and programs, excellent phone skills and etiquette, Collect and post patient payments; prepare daily financial close-out and submit all forms and fees to the computerized medical billing, help in credentialing,

-Medical Billing Knowledge Needed

- Bonus ( Knowledge of Athena Practice Management )

-Surgical Scheduling knowledge a plus

Spanish or Chinese speaking is preferred
