Full Job Description

Lube / Express/ PDI Automotive Technician

Curry Chevrolet is hiring an entry-level Lube/Express Automotive Technician to join our Service Department.

This is more than an entry-level position—it is the first step in a technician career path. We provide hands-on training, factory training, and opportunities to advance into higher-level technician positions.

Responsibilities

Perform engine oil and filter changes.
Perform Pre-delivery inspection
Rotate, balance, and inspect tires.
Check and adjust tire pressures.
Inspect and replace engine and cabin air filters.
Check and top off vehicle fluids.
Perform battery testing.
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections.
Inspect brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items.
Communicate inspection findings accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
Complete assigned training and work toward the next technician level.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of automotive repair or maintenance experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
New York State Motor Vehicle Inspector Certification is a plus.
Must be dependable and arrive on time.
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Must be able to work well with technicians, advisors, dispatchers, and Parts personnel.
Entry-level technicians and qualified candidates looking to begin an automotive career are encouraged to apply.
