Office Assistant

Garage Door Service & Installation Company

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our established garage door installation and service company in Pomona, NY.

This is an on-site, part-time, W-2 position, paying $25 per hour.

The days and hours are Monday through Friday 11am-4pm.

The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, communicates politely and professionally, takes pride in completing work accurately and able to learn our service software: we are currently using the ServiceM8 software and will be using the ServiceTitan software soon.

Office Assistant Responsibilities

Billing, collections, data entry, saving documents in google drive and other office activities
Data entry includes mostly names, job numbers and payment information
Maintain organized google sheets and google drive filing system
Follow written procedures, checklists and office processes
Communicate with customers by email
Other general office duties as needed

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years previous office experience similar to this job's activities
Previous data entry, billing, collections, software and other office activities
Experience using google sheets and gmail
Experience saving documents in google drive
Other office activities and software as needed
Excellent attention to enter accurate details
Professional verbal and written communication skills with correct english grammar
Friendly, courteous and respectful when communicating in customer emals
Comfortable repeatedly emailing customers that they need to pay their past due balances
Able to maintain confidentiality when working with customer and financial information
Professional business attire appropriate for an office environment
Dependable and punctual
