Duties

Prepare dough according to established recipes, ensuring proper measurements and ingredient quality
Shape, boil, and bake bagels with precision to achieve optimal texture and appearance
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough cutters safely and efficiently
Package baked goods carefully for freshness and presentation, adhering to food safety standards
Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure consistent product quality
Assist with other food preparation tasks including pastry preparation, cake decorating, or catering support as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a high-volume environment
Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards
Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
Excellent attention to detail in food handling, packaging, and presentation
Customer service mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy bags or trays, and perform repetitive tasks
