Skilled Lead Carpenter – Framing & Siding
Triple S Construction is looking to add experienced Lead Carpenters to our team. We are specifically looking for dependable, skilled individuals with strong experience in residential and commercial framing and siding who are capable of leading work in the field.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who knows the trade, can take a set of plans or direction and turn it into quality work, and can help keep a crew productive and moving in the right direction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Residential and commercial wood framing
- Layout of walls, floors, roofs, openings, and other structural components
- Install wall and roof sheathing
- Install various types of siding and exterior trim
- Install windows and exterior doors
- Read and understand construction drawings and plans
- Take accurate measurements and perform construction layout
- Lead and work alongside other carpenters/laborers
- Plan daily work and keep projects moving efficiently
- Identify problems in the field and help develop solutions
- Maintain high standards for quality and workmanship
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Communicate professionally with project managers, subcontractors, customers, and other trades
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of carpentry/construction experience preferred
- Strong framing and/or siding experience
- Previous lead carpenter or crew leader experience preferred
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of proper framing and exterior installation practices
- Comfortable using standard carpentry and construction tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Dependable and able to consistently show up on time
- Willing to travel to different jobsites as needed
- Able to work outside in varying weather conditions

Pay: Based on experience and skill level
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed
