Full Job Description

Job Description

The Client Service Associate under the direct supervision, uses intermediate skills obtained through experience and training to assist financial advisors and provide clients with quality customer service. Follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform a variety of non- routine tasks with limited decision-making responsibility. Routine contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts and information. The associate enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service, supporting branch functions as needed, assisting in safeguarding client assets, and serving as administrative and operational support to Financial Advisors. The Associate is responsible for understanding firm policies, procedures, and digital capabilities that will allow them to interact with Financial Advisors teams as well as new and existing clients.

Job Functions

Provide excellent customer service over the phone, in person and via email
Creating a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients
Managing the front desk by helping clients prepare for their visits
Receives and directs incoming calls and mail
Maintains all client paperwork and other documentation specified by management
Receives and deposits client checks
Efficiently and timely communicates with all team members
Maintain existing client relationships through the processing of client request, resolving client inquiries, and making sure key client information and documentation is up to date
Onboard new client accounts, which includes the collection of required documentation and client information
Support the team's marketing strategy by maintaining marketing materials, including digital and social media platforms, and planning client events and seminars
Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
Receives cross training and assists with other operational functions and required
Ensures required client paperwork is current with firm and industry requirements, rules and regulations
Process and follows up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts
Collect the right documentation for opening ne accounts and service request
Actively engage in available training and education programs to maintain current status on policies, procedures and rick awareness

Skills Required

Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
Ability to adapt in an evolving environment
Proficient with general office applications
Skilled in preparing written communications and materials
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
Self-motivated , independent worker, and thinker
Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry

Education

Bachelor's or associates degree in business or finance preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum 3 - 5 years industry experience)
