Generac is seeking motivated, dependable, and quality-focused individuals to join our manufacturing team as a Painter I (Paint Hanger) in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Available Shifts/Pay:

✅ 1st Shift - 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, Tuesday-Friday, $19.85/hour
✅ 2nd Shift - 3:15 pm - 1:15 am, Tuesday-Friday, $19.85/hour + $2.50 shift premium
✅ Weekend Shift - 5:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday-Monday, $19.85/hour + $3.00 shift premium

What You'll Do

As a Paint Hanger, you will play a critical role in our powder coat paint operation by safely and efficiently loading and unloading parts from the paint line. Your attention to detail will help ensure our products meet Generac's high-quality standards before reaching customers.

Responsibilities include:

Safely load and unload parts on the powder coat paint line
Follow established processes, procedures, and safety guidelines
Inspect parts for quality and proper paint coverage
Handle materials and components safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support team production goals and continuous improvement efforts
Work collaboratively with team members and leadership

What We're Looking For Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of manufacturing or related experience
Detail-oriented and organized

Additional Qualifications

Strong communication skills
Ability to follow standard work instructions and procedures
Basic reading and writing ability
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Dependable, energetic, and positive attitude
Commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Previous experience with powder coating or powder paint systems
