Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall wellness. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outpatient care, utilizing your expertise in physiotherapy, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives across diverse age groups, including pediatrics, geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans aligned with clinical standards.
Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, neurology interventions, and mobility exercises.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to coordinate patient care and optimize recovery outcomes.
Manage electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems accurately for documentation of treatment progress and discharge planning.
Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, home care routines, and community resources to support ongoing recovery outside the clinical setting.
Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal rehabilitation results.
Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and maintain detailed records of patient care activities in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Experience

Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics or outpatient rehabilitation centers.
Demonstrated expertise working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and home health settings.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques relevant to outpatient care.
Experience developing comprehensive care plans that incorporate discharge planning and patient rehabilitation goals.
Familiarity with inpatient hospital experience or acute care environments is advantageous but not required.
Proficiency managing outpatient therapy documentation using EMR or EHR systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
Prior exposure to outpatient clinic experience involving treatment plan development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.
