Day Habilitation Program Manager

Location: North Weymouth, MA

Position Type: FLSA Exempt| Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | No nights or weekends!

Pay: $60,000-$67,781.45 annual salary. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 for full-time positions(paid in two increments)

What You’ll Do

The Day Habilitation Program Manager oversees the daily operations, service delivery, and regulatory compliance of our Day Habilitation Program, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role ensures that all participants receive high-quality, person-centered services aligned with their Day Habilitation Service Plans (DHSPs) and the standards of MassHealth, DDS, CARF and all applicable state regulations.

Program Leadership & Operations

Lead the daily operations of the Day Hab program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
Coordinate referrals and liaise with funding agencies.
Ensure compliance with MassHealth Day Habilitation regulations, DDS standards, CARF, and all agency policies.
Monitor program quality, data collection, and outcomes; implement improvements as needed.
Prepare for and Participate in audits, reviews, and quality assurance activities.

Staff Supervision & Development

Supervise, coach, and evaluate program staff; promote a positive, collaborative team culture.
Oversee staffing schedules, training, coverage, and resource allocation.
Support onboarding, professional development, and performance feedback for all program staff.
Lead Interdisciplinary Team meetings to ensure compliance with all prior authorization requirements.

Individual Services & Advocacy

Oversee the development, implementation, and documentation of individualized goals and habilitation plans.
Ensure services are person-centered and aligned with DHSPs and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with families, guardians, case managers, clinicians, and external partners to support participant needs.
Foster opportunities for community integration and meaningful engagement.

Quality Assurance & Administration

Lead emergency preparedness, safety procedures, and environmental oversight.
Ensure timely and accurate billing, attendance tracking, and administrative documentation.
Manage program resources and maintain adherence to all required regulations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated leader with a passion for supporting adults with developmental disabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, education, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience required.
Strong knowledge of MassHealth Day Hab regulations and DDS standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to complete all required background checks (CORI, fingerprinting, OIG, etc.).
