Full Job Description

Summary

The Corporate Service Manager is responsible for partnering with each Branch Manager in directing our service personnel and ensuring excellent customer service, both internally and externally. This includes overseeing service staff of multiple locations, coordinating schedules, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency. The Corporate Service Manager will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and work closely with other departments. This position at times requires extensive travel (25%-30%).

Responsibilities

Ensure the smooth operation of service teams across multiple locations, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of service performance.
Provide leadership, coaching, and development of each branch. This includes mentoring personnel, ensuring productivity, handling performance evaluations and recruitment as needed.
Identify and address the training needs of service staff, ensuring teams stay up to date with company protocols, and new technology.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between locations, ensuring that best practices are shared, and challenges are addressed collectively.
Receive comprehensive factory training and gain expertise on a wide range of equipment.
Develop, implement, and maintain standardized service protocols, ensuring consistency in how services are delivered across all locations.
Tracking service branch performances to assess service levels, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the company's overall service strategy by identifying growth opportunities, building service agreement programs, improving service processes, and driving initiatives that enhance service delivery. This will include cross-departmental work with territory managers and all Spray Equipment branches.
Oversee and ensure service satisfaction by addressing customer issues, managing key service accounts, and maintaining long-term relationships.
Implement and maintain service processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Ensure that service branch complies with safety standards, and company policies.
Responsibilities include coordinating repair activities, performing office-based administrational tasks, and visiting customer facilities to support service initiatives and strengthen customer relationships.
Lead meetings with service staff, territory managers, and end users both in person and virtually.

Qualifications and Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with the ability to travel extensively.
3-4 years of experience in a service management role is preferred.
3-4 years of experience in a mechanical field or related field is preferred.
Fundamental electrical knowledge and ability to use electrical test meters
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate basic information in a professional, polite, and courteous manner.
Attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple personnel & tasks at the same time.

Physical Demands

Frequent use of office machines (computer, 10-key). Frequent answering and using the telephone. Frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Constant exposure to heat and cold (indoor/outdoor).
