Full Job Description

Position Summary

Cedar Mills Property Management is looking for an enthusiastic motivated, reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant /Bookkeeper to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing administrative tasks with financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

· Code and process company credit card transactions.

· Prepare and process accounts payable for company and owner entities.

· Record tenant deposits and other receipts into AppFolio.

· Prepare and process company and owner deposits.

· Process transfers to and from escrow accounts.

· Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.

· Complete monthly bank reconciliations for company and owner accounts.

· Process owner accounting, including owner invoices and payments.

· Audit receipts and verify supporting documentation.

· Charge management fees and lease commissions.

· Process owner payouts.

· Prepare prepaid expense journal entries.

· Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

· Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.

· Collect and maintain current W-9 forms.

· Collect and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs).

· Maintain accurate vendor records.

· Scan and electronically file documents.

· Maintain organized paper and electronic filing systems.

· Prepare and mail checks.

· Respond to emails and communicate professionally with vendors, owners, and internal staff.

· Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
