2nd Shift CNC Mill Operator

No Machining Experience Required | On-the-Job Training

Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday thru Friday
Pay: $45,000 - $100,000/year
Location: 1107 S. West St., Wichita, KS 67213
Job Type: Full-time, in person

Position Overview

This is not a traditional CNC operator position. Previous CNC or machining experience is not required. We intentionally train new operators from the beginning so they can learn our processes, develop strong work habits, and meet our quality standards.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying active throughout the entire shift. This is a hands-on, physical position that involves operating CNC mills, driving bolts, inspecting parts, and completing repetitive production tasks accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC mills safely and efficiently after completing training
Load and unload parts and drive bolts throughout the production process
Follow setup sheets, work instructions, and established procedures
Inspect and measure parts using calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools
Identify and report quality concerns or equipment issues
Deburr, sand, clean, and prepare finished parts
Complete production documentation accurately
Maintain an organized work area that is clean and free of hazards
Meet established expectations for safety, quality, attendance, and productivity
Work cooperatively with supervisors and other team members

Work Environment

Fully air-conditioned and heated shop maintained at approximately 74 degrees year-round
Team-oriented production environment focused on safety, efficiency, and quality
Regular exposure to machinery, sharp tooling, metal parts, and loud noise
Required use of applicable personal protective equipment

Physical Requirements

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

Standing and walking for most of the shift
Frequently bending, reaching, twisting, and performing repetitive movements
Regularly handling tools, bolts, and metal components
Lifting and moving materials weighing 50 pounds or more
Maintaining focus while performing repetitive production tasks
