As the Culinary Specialist you will prepare food and serve facility meals maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.
Essential Duties Include:

Prepares and serves meals.

Maintains kitchen area and equipment in a clean and organized manner following kitchen cleaning scheduled and standards set by the Health Department.

Records temperatures on kitchen appliances.

Maintain food temperature record log.

Assures that all pertinent paperwork is completed per department protocol.

Maintain order lists for items that may be needed for next food delivery.

Receive and stock incoming supplies.

Ability to converse in English with others to give, take and process information; extensive use of telephone.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, multi-task, coordinate projects and record/transcribe general and specific meeting minutes.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Communicate with other staff to relay concerns and observations involving patient safety.
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.

Food Handers Card or Serve Safe Certification required.

Two years food production experience required
