We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Relationship Assistant to join our team in Wiggins.
Your Mission
As a "Customer Concierge," you will partner with Relationship and Portfolio Managers to coordinate loan operations, renewals, and maintenance. You will ensure proactive communication and attention to detail to meet critical deadlines while serving as a primary point of contact for customer service and financial needs.

Your Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will be varied, engaging, and highly collaborative. On any given day, you will schedule and coordinate crucial meetings, such as deal "kick-off" meetings and annual file reviews, bringing together customers, Relationship Managers, and Portfolio Managers. You will manage the end-to-end loan administration process for pipeline loans, which includes gathering paperwork via platforms like FileInvite, engaging third parties for appraisals or title searches, and handling critical documents to protect loan collateral. You will also provide continuous customer support by facilitating closings, checking in post-closing, ensuring payments are set up preferentially, and providing past-due heads-up notices. Internally, you will prepare weekly Market Meeting packets, monitor maturing loans, and connect regularly with teams like DocPrep and Booking/Funding to continuously refine our workflows.
What you bring to High Plains Bank
Experience
- Prior loan processing or credit experience
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate specialized banking software and systems
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- A degree is business, finance, or accounting is a plus
- Prior title insurance experience
- Notary Public certification
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Accountabilities of the position
Coordinate loan administration process for loans in the pipeline
- Coordinate meetings with customers and the Relationship Management teams including kick-off and closing
- Coordinate collection of complete customer file
- Engage 3rd parties; appraiser, title company, insurance providers, bookkeepers, etc.
- Manage critical documents
- Coordinate with other teams to keep the loan process moving forward
Provide ongoing customer support
- Post closing and payment communication
- Coordinate annual reviews
- Maintain complete customer loan files
Coordinate customer connections with other team members in the bank
- Maintain knowledge of other bank products and services customer may need and facilitate appropriate connections
Coordinate and Manage Internal Processes
- Prepare weekly Market Meeting packets
- Coordinate for maturing loans and lines, upcoming rate changes, annual reviews and exceptions
- Assist with process and procedure development and maintenance and stay aligned with the Loan Operations team

Target compensation range
- $22.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications - other factors may be considered
