About White Lion Brewing Company:

An independent, western MA based craft brewery that launched in 2014. White Lion, the first craft beer brand to go to market in Springfield, MA. The location incorporates a production brewery, kitchen, full bar, and outdoor event space.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic vision for the Kitchen in Springfield – fostering a culture that demonstrates pride in White Lion. Develops, directs, and supervises hourly Team Members to attain sales and profit objectives while maintaining the integrity of the brand, the highest standards of food quality, hospitality, beverage, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation. We expect you to be responsible for setting up stations, food prep, cooking and serving orders, exceeding food specifications, sanitation and clean up. In addition, filling in as needed.

Reports to: Operation’s Partner & works creatively under the consultation of President and Food Consultant(s).

Enhanced Customer Experience

Help maintain culture, and positive vibe of the brand experiences
Convey knowledge about food pairings and the ability to educate staff in turn enhancing the customer experience.
Maintain a clean, safe, focused, and productive environment on a daily basis in addition to being a lead brand ambassador
Provide excellent customer service with a customer first attitude.
Use good judgment, communication, and customer service when interacting with Taproom guests.
Understand when to elevate situations to Management.
Develop an understanding of the history and mission of White Lion, the Taproom, as well as the brewing process itself.

Essential Job Requirements Education

Associates Degree preferred,
High School Diploma or equivalent acceptable with proven experience,
Bartending, serving or retail experience preferred,
Desired: Certifications,
CPR/First Aid certified,
Schedule is Full Time.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
